ANIMAL RIGHTS: EXPLOITATION & ABUSE ISSUES |
|
Many people and religions believe that people have "dominion" over animals or are somehow superior to them in some way. Ecodefense.com disagrees with that notion. We believe that all lifeforms are equal to each other and that the human species (admittedly possessing amazing brains and using it in so many fascinating ways) is just another animal when it comes right down to it. ALL OTHER species can think in ways we cannot and do things we can't, so what's the difference? What gives us the right to think we're any "better" than any of them, or worse yet, kill them? Only our egos, fears, and greed of course... SOME FEATURED CAMPAIGNS: Here's are a few worthwhile "animal rights" campaigns to work on... there's a lot more, but why not these?
