Sea Shepherd Crew Return to Taiji despite Death Threats and Violence

With your help, we can stop the
dolphin slaughter in Taiji, Japan

We have found a way to save dolphins in Japan... We just need to be there.

Our crew of four patrols the waterfront every morning and this prevents the Japanese from rounding up dolphins because the Japanese government has warned them that video or photos taken of the dolphins being killed means bad press for Japan and the government has threatened to shut the dolphin hunt down if more images are released. The fishermen have also been warned to not harm people documenting the slaughter.

60 dolphins were killed on Oct 6th and this embarrassed the government and the fishermen were ordered to not kill any dolphins while our crew remains in Taiji.

Experience Japan and save the lives of dolphins!

THIS IS A CAMPAIGN THAT IS GOING ON NOW!
(October/ November 2003, and also for next year) See more pictures and get more info direct from the SEA SHEPHERD website now.

We can stop it for October but we need help to stop it in November. Our crew needs rotation and help.

We need volunteers to go to Taiji in November. We can't pay airfare but we can pay for accomodation and food in Taiji.

Please contact the SEA SHEPHERD CONSERVATION SOCIETY if interested.

This campaign to save Dolphins put forth by Ecodefense.com on behalf of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society in October, 2003.
