SPAYING & NEUTERING STRAYS |
|
In many countries around the world, there are thousands of stray cats and dogs wandering the streets, towns, and cities, scrounging for food and shelter amidst the foot and car traffic every day. There are also various groups and organizations working around the world to bring solutions to this huge problem by implementing effective spay and neutering programs in their respective communities. These programs provide the (concerned) locals the assistance needed to bring their respective stray animal overpopulations down to manageable levels so that all of the animals can receive better care and attention. These invaluable programs save thousands of animals lives each year while simultaneously preventing immeasurable amounts of unneccessary suffering. FEATURED CAMPAIGN: Here's a great group with an effective animal life saving campaign to support.
Some KEY Organizations: Here are a few organizations with effective spaying and neutering programs for stray animals. THE ESTHER HONEY FOUNDATION The Esther Honey Foundation is the first non-profit, 501 (c) (3), international organization to work exclusively to control animal populations on islands through spay and neuter and the first to provide free spay/neuter field clinics through EHF VET TREKS to remote South Pacific island nations. The difference that EHF makes for animals and their communities can be permanent. See our HANDY QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE showing WHO else is listed and WHERE on the website they can be found. |
